Set in Izumo, KAMIGOTO HOUSE was born
as a place where space, nature, art, sound, and people meet.
mogmin. is in charge of the production and art direction of KAMIGOTO HOUSE.
Thinking through the concept of the space.
Choosing what to place there.
Considering color, material, and the way light enters.
Including art, furniture, plants, sound, and even how people move,
envisioning what kind of time will be born in that place.
For me, creating a space is also a form of Creation.
In jewelry, the in-between of stone and person.
In clothing, the in-between of body and fabric.
In sound, the in-between of sound, body, and space.
At KAMIGOTO HOUSE,
architecture, nature, people, objects, time—
I create one world while looking at every “in-between” among them.
A PLACE TO EXPERIENCE.
Every place holds sensations that can only be born there.
Light coming in through the windows.
Sounds heard from outside.
Plants that change with the seasons.
The things placed there.
Conversations shared with someone.
Quiet time spent alone.
What we cherish at KAMIGOTO HOUSE
is not fixing all of this into one finished scene,
but leaving room for new moments to be born with each person who visits.
People enter, meet objects, listen to sound, feel nature.
In that moment, the space too takes on a new expression.
For mogmin., KAMIGOTO HOUSE is also
a place to practice the art of “creating space.”
